Love Trilogy (Part III)

I stand here before you

All I ever owned

flung at your feet.

My eyes;

your private peepshow

into my soul.

Look at me, before you.

My present

tied up in you.

Life before you

never existed;

how could it have?

This is me, before you.

Stripped to the bone.

I will cut down

a forest with my bare hands

to build our home.

But you care fuck-all.

Good intentions don't always come out right. Life gets in the way of the best laid plans and emotions are always fickle, yet powerful enough to change everything... Enjoy.

    1. Yeah, but what would fit in is rather rude. Nothing else felt right so I just had to fill up the space. Also, the last line is flat to represent the disappointment of unrequited love and the shattering of dreams mentioned throughout the poem. Does that make sense??! Anyways, I will consider changing it, thanks! 🙂

  1. “But you are not interested.” Unfortunately, only interest that is spontaneous will equal the desire, rather than interest is coerced (or responsive out of pity).

  2. I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.

  3. Hey There. I found your blog using msn. This is an extremely well written article. I’ll make sure to bookmark it and come back to read more of Love Trilogy (Part III) missmeddle . Thanks for the post. I will certainly comeback.
