Black Coctail


as a moth…
Fly out of me
as I, too,
yearn for release.

like the dead…
Call out to heaven
as my soul, too,
calls out to be rescued.

as ink…
Stain the page
as my blood, too,
is stained.

Breathe me
Into your system.
Let me course through
Your veins

Draw me into your
Very soul
Let me fill your
Head and heart,
Blur the edges of
Your pain.

I am your
Use me
Anyway you want;
Behind closed doors,
In soft-lit rooms,
With happy-music playing.
Take me into you.
